Sometimes, dramatic results can occur without anesthesia and operating rooms. Dr. de Olarte offers several prescription-only skin treatments and alternatives to improve the wrinkles on the face. The injections are administered by the doctor personally. Here are a few of the products available:

Botox

Botox is an injection of a natural substance that weakens the muscles of the forehead and upper face that cause deep wrinkles. Lasts approximately 4-6 months.

Restylane/Perlane

(Injections of a filler based on hyaluronic acid, the Restylane line of products can be administered quickly for speedy results. The filler improves the appearance of the wrinkles instantly. The doctor will decide if you need Restylane or Perlane. Lasts approximately 9 months to a year.)

Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus

(Injections of a different brand of filler, also based on hyaluronic acid. The Juvederm product line is designed to add hydration to the face, especially at the smile lines, which extend from the nose to the corners of your mouth. The doctor will decide if you need the Juvederm ultra or ultra plus. Lasts approximately 9 months to a year.)

Radiesse

(Injection of a filler for deeper wrinkles on the face. Radiesse is a convenient treatment that stimulates the body to produce new collagen. Is a thicker filller for deeper wrinkles and last approximately 1 ½ years.)

Prevage MD
