Breasts that have been augmented using this method tend to sag more over time, with the patient possibly needing a secondary surgery and their cleavage is more unnatural and the implants are more conspicuous. But if your breasts are sagging, you may want to place them above the muscle because the implants need to match the position of the nipple, and if you are too saggy you will need a lift.
