Breast Augmentation:
I highly recommend Dr. Gloria de Olarte. About a year ago, my sister and I were interested in getting both our Breasts done. We both went to see this doctor who stated that he was a cosmetic surgeon. We went on a Thursday and my sister got her breasts done the following week. I did not get my done because I had a baptism. The doctor did not make my sister get a mammogram before her surgery. She massive bruising, it took her about 3 months to recuperate. My sister just did not feel right after the surgery, so after 8 months, she still felt some pain, and bumps, she thought maybe something was left inside her breast, so she went and got a mammogram. She had cancer. Had the doctor requested a mammogram before the surgery, which is standard procedure, she would have found out one year earlier. Not only that, but the doctor insisted that I should get 550 cc implants, and disregarded my opinion because I thought it was too big!
So I found Dr. de Olarte, and I loved her. My surgery was the polar opposite of my sister's experience. Within a week I felt better, I had minimal bruising, I was totally recuperated within a month. I ended up getting 350cc implants which is smaller and exactly what I wanted. I appreciate that Dr. de Olarte listened to my concerns and my desires. I love my results. Now my sister and I, both go to Dr. de Olarte for our fillers! I would recommend her to anyone.

My experience with Dr. De Olarte was amazing. She took her time with me, explained the entire breast augmentation procedure which allowed me to make the right decision. She was very comforting and reliable. She made me feel very assuring that I was doing the right thing as far as the breast augmentation was concerned. She was very honest about my situation and when I tell you the end results were incredible, it is INCREDIBLE!!!!! Her receptionist was very helpful. She called me and helped me out with alot of the foot work that needed to be done. After the surgery, Dr. De Olarte called and checked on me and made sure I was ok. I felt really safe and secure with her being my doctor. I would recommend anyone to go to Dr. De Olarte. As a matter of fact, I have recommended friends and family to her. They have called because of the results they have seen performed on me. I still go and visit her with follow up appointments and her spirit is still the same everytime i go, very nurturing.... She is an amazing person, she is funny but serious at the same time. She was thorough throughout the entire process. I am happy I chose her for my breast augmentation....

Eyelid Surgery
I am so happy with the results of my eyelid surgery. Dr. de Olarte is a highly professional and experienced plastic surgeon, and I always felt comfortable and reassured throughout my treatment. I consider myself having a very youthful appearance for my age, but my under eye bags had become extremely unattactive. After much fearful apprehension and denial, I decided to go ahead with the treatment. I am so glad I did! Dr. de Olarte did a fantastic job! The surgery was relatively quick and painless, and even though I had some bruising, it went away. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Dr. de Olarte for any future needs. I am really pleased with the way I look!

Facelift
My first procedure with Dr. de Olarte was at about age 58. I had a full facelift. My daughter ahd previously undergone breast augmentation with Dr. De Olarte and they were so perfect and so enhancing to her looks that I visited Dr. de Olarte and was not fearful about having a facelift. I wanted to look very natural, attractive and healthy with my looks. That is exactly what I got. It was beautiful, with no telltale scars, it just made me look ten years younger and how nice that was, in that I had a full time job, a family (four children, however I was divorced), many friends. And also many nice men came into my life. I was very, very HAPPY with the results from my facelift procedure.
Eleven years have passes and now my daughter needed a replacement of her breast implants ( they have about a 10 year warranty from defects). By now she was married and had two little boys. Dr. de Olarte did the surgery and she emerged again with lovely breasts.
Ten months ago at the age of 71, I retired from my career, and entered a new phase of life- senior citizen. As all women do as they age, they look in the mirror and pull the skin of the lower face back to see how much better they look by getting rid of the "turkey" neck. I finally decided to pay another visit to Dr. de Olarte and had work done only on the area below my eyes, which included getting rid of the excess neck skin and the jowls from my lower face. I also got some fillers In the folds/ parenthesis ( ) around my mouth, as well as filling in all the lines around my mouth, including both top and bottom lip.
Once again I was very happy with the results. Only my grown children and a few friends knew what I had done and their reaction is so positive. I know the surgery took years off my face.
Within two weeks I was fully recovered and resumed all the things that fill my life as a senior citizen, but I no longer looked old. My 5 year old grandson is so observing that before he would question why I had neck wrinkles and his mom did not. Well he is now six years old and no longer asks those uncomfortable questions.
I would encourage any woman who is contemplating a facelift to call the office of Dr. Gloria De Olarte. She will not disappoint you. She is the BEST physician for cosmetic surgical procedures.

Dr. De Olarte is a very charming lady. I felt very comfortable talking to her about having a breast augmentation. Dr. De Olarte help me pick the best size of breast for my body frame. My breast now look very natural and it's only been 3 months. After surgery dr. de olarte saw me once a week for the first month and she also called me every sunday to see how i was feeling. Very Happy With My New Body
dr. de olarte did a very good job with my body. she was really good in seeing me once a week for follow-up for a month. she may not be friendly and caring, but she is excellent in what she does. highly recommend her.
I had alot of anxiety and was very worried about how i would look after. She made me feel better and Im more than happy with my results! She knows what she is doing!
i saw several plastic surgeons ,she explained the most,spend over 1 hour with me explaining everything and even called me over the weekend after my surgery and my breast look so natural and soft!!!

It's crazy to see everyone's very different experiences! I personally had a wonderful experience with her and her office staff. I did notice that one person said their tummy tuck scar was longer than anticipated--mine was too. But, she asked me this pre-op and I said go as far as you have to for the best result! Hindsight, I wish I had of gone with a shorter scar, but that was at my consent. Overall, my results are amazing with my tummy tuck and she can be a bit brash, but I think it's tough being a PS and being honest. We're there for cosmetic reasons so any reality brought to ones attention (fat rolls, etc) can hurt and be very offensive. And probably a better way to go about it would to be more sensitive, which I agree.. she is not. But, a great surgeon? That she is.

Eyelid Surgery and Fillers
Dear Dr. de Olarte,
I want to let you know how pleased I am that I chose you for my plastic surgeon.
My opthamologist recommended that I have plastic surgery for drooping eyelids. My eyelids were hanging so low that my vision was impaired.
My internist told me that you are "the Best" and that I should go to you for surgery. I decided that I would benefit from botox for severe deep crow's feet the first time I met with you. I thought that since products are available to fill in large deep wrinkles that I would have the fillers injected while I was sedated for surgery.
The results of my eyelid surgery and the use of fillers have positively improved my looks. I am frequently told that I look great. My friends and family are impressed with the amazing results of the procedures. It feels good to walk around and receive compliments.
It appears that you did everything perfectly. Plus I am impressed with your wonderful personality and I always look forward to seeing you and your assitant Carmen.

Dear readers,
As the sun went down, my bedroom became dark. I turned on the light and looked in the mirror. It might as well have been a funhouse mirror, the kind you see in a circus. There was nothing normal about what I saw. Once again, I was shameful and felt disgust at the sight of my midsection. Not only was it unhealthy for me to have all the weight in my midsection, but it was also very unattractive and not sexy. All of this took the fun out of shopping for clothes and dressing up. I felt that if I could fix this, I would feel better about my appearance. I made the decision to have an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). The reason for fixing my body was not solely cosmetic but theraputic. Feelings of frustration and disappointment forced me to inquire. I called my sister, who had a tummy tuck two years prior and based on her referral I landed in Dr. de Olartes's office. I met with her and her staff and immediately knew this was what I wanted. They were caring, informative and not pushy in anyway. Dr. de Olarte's picture portfolio on surgery was impressive and thorough. Surgery was scheduled and performed. Thanks to my family especially my mom, recovery went extremely well. I am four sizes smaller and much happier with my overall appearance. In June 2007, I consulted Dr. De Olarte regarding an extended abdominoplasty. I had been referred to her by my friend who had also had the same procedure done by her. At the consultation and the preoperative appointments I received packets of information that were most helpful with my decision making, preparing for surgery, and fully understanding the surgical risks and post operative care. Dr. De Olarte spent a considerable amount of time explaining exactly what steps would be taken; showing me graphic pictures of actual procedures done. She explained the importance of the extra steps she takes to insure a thorough result, whereas, many other physicians do not. I felt well informed and confident in my decision to choose her as my physician.
I carried a spare tire for 22 years after giving birth to my son. Despite a committed regimen of exercise and eating properly I could never lose it. De Olarte is a brilliant and skilled surgeon. She took off 16 pounds of skin/fat and an additional 10 pounds came off during the weeks of recovery. I lost 11” around my hips and 5” around my waist. I have gone down several sizes in clothing and I feel like a new person! I no longer have the pain in my hips and lower back. It is easier for me now to exercise and I feel so much healthier.
An extended tummy tuck is not an easy surgery to recover from. You need to take deep breaths and cough plus wiggle your legs/feet every 15 minutes, walk every 2 hours, sleep in a sitting position for weeks, deal with drains and constantly pulling the girdle up and down, and in my case I had severe lower back pain from being hunched over for weeks, plus I got an infection in the incision and my drains fell out. It took 7 weeks before I felt like I could function normally.
One needs to carefully consider all the facts before having a procedure like this done and most importantly they need to choose someone they can trust who is highly skilled. I strongly recommend Dr. De Olarte and her wonderful professional staff, Carmen and Sue. They are also well informed and were most helpful with any questions that I had.

I was 60 years old when I decided to have a tummy tuck. Diet and exercise weren't helping at all when it came to reducing the size of my abdomen. After doing my homework, I choose Dr de Olarte because I was impressed by her experience, education and background. From my first consultation to my last visit was a very satisfying experience. She patiently explained the procedure to me and answered all my questions. Her employees are also very top notch as is her office. The surgery itself wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected, after four weeks I was as good as new, I was even mowing my lawn again. I also would like to add that her fees are extremely reasonable.

Mini-Tummy Tuck
After having 3 children (including a c-section), I was always unhappy with my lower abdomen. I am very active, fit and am a runner, but no matter what I did I could never seem to lose my "belly pouch." I then decided to have a mini-tummy tuck. I did a lot of research and went for a few consultations, and selected Dr. de Olarte. I felt very comfortable with her from the moment we met. I liked that she gave me options. She took her time with me and answered all my questions (and I have a lot!). The surgery went very well and my recuperation time was fast. I think it helps to be in shape to begin with. Dr de Olarte preformed breast implants and a tummy tuck in July 2004. After meeting with her during the consultation I knew she was the right doctor for me. After having my (3) wonderful children, I felt myself unsatisfied & somewhat unhappy with my appearance. For several months I pondered the idea of getting fuller breasts, or in a sense getting back what I had lost after breastfeeding my children. Like many other mothers as myself, I have to admit, I felt somewhat scared about the whole process; I thought that I would not be able to follow my restrictions, since I still needed to care for my kids, but then after having a consultation with Dr Olarte & seeing some of her results, I got courage to proceed. All my life I have been very self-conscious and insecure about the way I look, especially with my body. Since my surgery, I have gained so much self confidence and my self esteem that I've sought after for so long now has never been higher. Dr. Gloria De Olarte is an excellent doctor who puts
your mind at ease. I am 55 yrs. old and had a tummy
tuck done 8 months ago. Though I am still healing,
I've had no complications. I went back to work 8 days
after my surgery (4 hr. days & too soon), but I just
sit at a computer in a quiet office. My back hurt from
not standing up straight for a while, and of course
the pain & discomfort from the muscle stitching, not
the hip to hip incision. I did vacation in Puerto
Vallarta after 6 weeks (again, too soon) but I still
enjoyed myself. I am very pleased with my results but
the healing process can be somewhat depressing.

Non-Surgical "Liquid Facelift"
I went to Dr. De Olarte because my daughter is getting married and I wanted to refresh my face. After our consultation, Dr. De Olarte recommended Botox for my forehead and crows feet, Perlane for the lines around my nose and mouth, and Juvederm for my lips. I was a little apprehensive because I had never done anything like this before. But I was very happy with the ease of the procedures and mostly with the results. I looked refreshed and rested. It took approximately 30 minutes and I was on my way. There was no down time. I highly recommend this “liquid facelift”.
